I have to share a short moment I had today of complete embarrassment at the office. Absolutely a true story.
So I just got a Blackberry and I don’t quite know how to work it yet. Usually I’m just a hands on person and figure out stuff by playing around. Well the office was not a good place to test my phone today.
I loaded, “I’m on a Boat” onto my phone as an alarm tone the night before. Well I hadn’t figured out how to sync up my Bluetooth device to my phone until I read about it on a forum at work. So on my lunch I decided to get it hooked up.
Previously on my old phone whenever you listen to any sort of audio it diverts the phone to the Bluetooth and plays into the earpiece. Not so with my Blackberry! I was able to successfully connect my Bluetooth to my new phone and I wanted to hear a small snippet of the song on my earpiece. Big mistake.
When I hit play the song started up full blast through the Blackberry. My face suddenly turned beet red as I panicked to try and find the cancel or off button. Nothing was working and that song kept going. I swear I pressed everything I could. You could sit on that phone all you want, but that phone is too loud to mute easily. Eventually I flung off the back lid and took out the battery at which point I uncontrollably started laughing for a few minutes almost crying.
For all of you that have heard this song know it is probably one of the most foul language-filled songs on the entire “Incredibad” album and the office was treated to the opening 15 fifteen seconds of the song, which is the entire opening dialogue before you start hearing the main chorus. It was the most embarrassing, yet one of the funniest moments I’ve had in a while.
Luckily almost everyone was out to lunch, but one of my co-workers was still in the office and he started laughing as that song started up. I don’t know him too well at all so I was feeling extremely stupidly awkward during the time that song blew full blast.
I have since figured out the cancellation key for playing music. 
Thankfully my boss wasn’t there either!

oh my gosh.
that’s super funny. yeah, i almost got that song for my ringtone, but i really didn’t want it going off work. hahaha. i laughed really hard at the battery part!
