Lonely Island

Last night The Lonely Island’s Andy Samberg, Akiva Schaffer and Jorma Taccone (sorta) performed their live version of “I’m on a Boat” on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon with The Roots as their backup musicians. I think the funniest thing about watching it was the fact that they only really toned the lyrics down for television in the beginning verse. The amount of censored beeps heard throughout made it funny to see on network television.

Jorma Taccone was made use of by sitting on a stool with a “land lubber” hat as Andy and Akiva sang with disgust at him. Andy tastefully sports his nautical-themed pashmina afghan and Akiva rode his inflatable dolphin.

An overall great first TV performance! You can view the video by watching below or clicking here.
